After the collapse of the communist Eastern Europe and the forthcoming draw down of US and other Air forces in Europe he decided to quit spotting and focus on his career.

After working for more then 10 years in various management functions for a big Dutch department store, it was time for something completely different and he decided to start his own company under the name of Touchdown. The company now consists on 2 websites: www.touchdown-aviation.com and -photo with the main focus being the camera/photography store. The Touchdown Aviation is with more then 5 million hits in it's second year of existence, 2006, becoming quite a successful website!

He is photographer for Asia Sky Image Archives, member of the International Society of Aviation Photographers and a Canon CPS user.
